Local college students and businesses participated as a showing of support to the community by designing, creating, and modeling different categories of fashions. The 2nd Annual Fashion Show was toned down somewhat from the first year, but still presented some innovative and "protective" apparel, with several designs made entirely from latex condoms.
The event also included a silent auction, raffle drawings, and information booths. Among the keynote speakers was Tony Monken, former adviser of Metro East Pride and HIV/AIDS advocate throughout the state of Illinois.
